Let’s celebrate this important milestone by retracing the evolution of the company’s founding values which today are important pillars of its success!

Lavor 2025: yesterday’s values are tomorrow’s pillars

Lavor celebrates its first 50 years, always looking to the future. Always faithful to those values witnessing its establishment, today the company makes its philosophy concrete, by turning ideas into backbones on which to build the next 50 years of history:

  • Customers, the corporate focus;
  • Competitiveness, without any compromise;
  • Production made to measure;
  • Territory and sustainability;
  • Service quality from production to after sales.

A 50-year mission

"Ensuring maximum satisfaction to its customers through the supply of products and services tailored to market demands."

It has been 50 years since Lavor first opened its doors, presenting its innovative products to the Mantuan public. Attention to detail, tailoring quality and unique functions have been the cornerstones of this journey, allowing a small company to establish itself among the world’s leading players in the industry.

lavor old-new

Firmly believing in the importance and value of people, the company has succeeded in implementing its mission over the years, turning it into the primary backbone of the whole company, with the development of 4 key areas for its success:

  • The quality management system, which extends in all areas of production and business;
  • The research and development system, which is essential to constantly improve the products and the innovative, technical and functional solutions adopted;
  • The market sales system, which ensures a well-established, reliable and expansive presence;
  • An efficient and well-distributed after-sales system in the territory.

Moving among the 4 areas of success, the customer becomes the common thread of all Lavor production, representing the core of every strategic and production decision of the company.

Tackling competitive markets without sacrificing quality: Lavor enters the Comet group

To fulfill its mission, Lavor has also made over the years important choices at the managerial and management level, always guided by the desire to do and offer more to its customers by innovating, investing and developing new products.

With the aim of always achieving important and great goals, in 2017 the Mantua-based company joined the Comet Group, a leading industrial business, recognized worldwide for the quality of its range.

During this transitory phase, the alignment between Lavor and Comet was driven by a deep shared business philosophy based on continuous technological innovation and customer satisfaction.

As a company which is part of the Comet Group, Lavor has had the opportunity to:

  • further optimize its internal dynamics by implementing the KAIZEN philosophy, an approach focusing on continuous improvement, aiming at creating more value, decreasing waste, improving production performance and elevating the entire business system;
  • further expand its range, focusing on technology and manufacturing quality, without being constrained by the swinging dynamics of an increasingly pressing and competitive market.

With its entry into Comet, Lavor once again puts customers and their needs at the forefront, ensuring the quality and excellence they deserve, without any compromise.

The Lavor range, between products made to measure and know-how

Established as a small Italian company with a tailored but limited proposal of dedicated cleaning tools, today Lavor has one of the widest and most competitive ranges of specialized home&outdoor and professional cleaning products, as a result of a meticulous and synergistic work of the Research & Development team.

Pressure cleaners, sweepers, vacuum cleaners, wet vacs, floor scrubber-dryers, steam generators and steam surface cleaners make up the company’s wide range of highly specialized and versatile tools designed to make every cleaning job easier and faster. Simple in use and attractively designed, these products combine functionality, ergonomics and aesthetics in a balanced manner.

Despite the brand’s extensive production and multinational footprint, even today Lavor continues to ensure that same tailoring approach which has distinguished the company since 1975, adapting it to a broader, more complex, demanding and innovative market.

Protecting the territory to protect people

In Lavor’s future vision, the territory and its safeguard remain one of the cornerstones underpinning its business development, both from an environmental sustainability point of view and for the enhancement of its employees.

Since the beginning of the internationalization process, Lavor has strengthened its connection to the territory by opening direct branches within the new markets, focusing on enhancing its link with the land. This rooting strategy has immediately proved successful, leading the company to now be present on 3 continents, with its own branches in Brazil, China, Spain, Poland, France and the United Kingdom.

This approach has made it possible, on the one hand, to root the company within new markets and, on the other hand, to enhance each new location by equating it with those in the Italian territory, putting in place strategies aimed at the sustainability of people and the territory. In fact, over the years Lavor has launched important initiatives to protect the environment, such as the purchase of Tuscan-Emilian Apennines Sustainability Credits, thus offsetting the annual amount of CO2 emitted by the company’s fleet of vehicles.

Just as the roots with the Mantua area and its first employees remain, the locations and territories which now house the new branches are also parts of the large Lavor family. Based on this, the company is committed to building an increasingly green future in line with its original values and vision.

Philosophies and certifications: quality assurance

Lavor has always be compliant with the major industry regulations in relation to product quality and consumer protection.

The quality of Lavor products has been guaranteed by the most important certifications such as CE, CCC, CQC, GS, UL, TUV, KEMA, ROHS, and INMETRO, as well as by frequent in-house testing. In addition, to guarantee the made-to-measure range that has always distinguished Lavor production, through the FFU certification the company has the opportunity to work in direct contact with individual customers, thus keeping its high quality standards.

Likewise, the customer-oriented philosophy pursued independently since 1975 has enabled the company to receive numerous awards, such as the Quality Management System certification and ISO 9001:28 Certification by the TÜV Italia Certification Body.

These awards are part of an entire process extending from product manufacture to after-sales service, where dialogue, confrontation, listening and sharing with consumers remain, once again, the underlying aspects of every business decision.

Lavor is ready to build another 50 years of success by focusing on people, territory and quality: growing by valuing human capital, responding to people’s needs and building a stronger, cleaner and more sustainable future all together.
